Yes! The crib rocks like a rocking chair but very gently as it is for smooth movements.

This comes with a mattress but the mattress protector and sheet need to be bought separately. We carry both items for your convenience. Thanks!

The Babies love the gentle motion it. If Mom is nursing one the other can enjoy a bit of rocking in this chic bassinet!

We love the Kumi bassinet! I’m sad that our 2 mo old daughter will outgrow it soon (she’s extremely long), but have just ordered the crib in the same style- the Kimi- for her to graduate up to. I had thought I wanted a sidecar, so I could reach her from bed, but I went with this one because it rocks, is easy to move, and is just beautiful. I love being able to gently rock her while laying in bed and check on her through the sheer sides. SIL put it together so can’t comment on that but I think it was fairly straightforward if you followed the instructions. Baby girl likes it too, has slept happily in there most nights since day 2.
This bassinet is so beautiful!! Putting it together, however, was a pain because I was sent the wrong screws at first. However, the company quickly resolved the issue as the customer service was so great! Although this is a gift, I think it will work out perfectly!
I absolutely love this bassinet, from the modern look to how safe it feels and looks. My son could sleep for hours if I let him that’s how comfortable the mattress is. Overall love the look and feel of the bassinet.
